Disney’s Aladdin

From award-winning Disney movie to smash hit musical comedy, Aladdin is an exuberant new west end spectacular. Aladdin features all the unforgettable songs from the much-loved film, such as ‘A Whole New World’ and ‘Friend Like Me’, as well as some brand new musical numbers.

When street urchin Aladdin stumbles across an ancient lamp in the Cave of Wonders he unwittingly releases the weird and wonderful Genie. Transformed into a prince by his three wishes, Aladdin teams up with adventure-hungry Princess Jasmine. But Aladdin’s not the only one who knows about the lamp – the wicked Jafar has his own wishes he wants granted.

Directed and choreographed by the incomparable Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon, Something Rotten!), starring Trevor Dion Nicholas in his role as Genie and with stunning sets from multi-award-winning designer Bob Crowley, Aladdin is a superbly crafted piece of theatre that will enchant the entire family.

Bursting with adventure, romance, magic and song, Aladdin is playing at Prince Edward Theatre. Don’t delay to book your tickets to this beguiling musical comedy.

  • Best theatre production I've seen

    26 May 2017

I much prefer shows like this compared to Book of Mormon because they drop in subtle references which is so much more funnier than crass humour (I'm not knocking BoM). Genie is charismatic and Iago is a joy. Didn't think much of the singing from Aladdin and Jasmine but outfits were so sparkly and visuals were astounding. Without a doubt, best theatre production I've seen.

Wonderful production, a feast for eyes. Didn't get the 5th star only because some of the jokes sounded would not have been understood by children and appeared to be more suitable for adults. (e.g, genies are just a legend, like happy marriages!) Also the bit like Strictly come dancing would be irrelevant for non UK based visitors.

  • Alladin musical

    25 May 2017

It was a spectacular show myself and my partner really enjoyed it very much. It's a definite must see again and I reccomend it to anyone. It's an all time favourite Disney movie of mine however I must say watching it in the theatre even beats watching the dvd. There are added extras and songs that were created just for the show which made it even more suprising. We were also in the box which so far are my favourite seats very private and even clearer view, it's the first time we ever sat in the box seats but will definitely book those again.
